Magnifying lens in Interloper

I started several times on an  Interloper, and did not find magnifying lens. They have not been removed?

I'm playing a new Interloper run and found a mag lens in Mystery Lake.  I don't think anything has changed with them.  I don't think they are guaranteed to be in a single place every time (though maybe in a known place if you know the loot tables and find what spawns in certain locations).

They follow the loot tables like bedrolls, hammers, hacksaws and other tools. Every game should have three or four of them. And one can always be found in ML and MT

In any given run there are between 2 and 4 mag lenses in the entire world.  But yes, ML and MT are the only regions where you're guaranteed to find one every time.

In ML, check the abandoned lookout, the camp office upstairs and downstairs, and Trappers. 

In MT, check Grey Mother's house, Paradise Meadows farmhouse, post office, and St. Christopher's church.
