Speed demon rabbits

In CE, every time I see a wolf go after a rabbit, they proceed to sprint off into the distance and as far as I can tell, no wolf has caught a rabbit to this point.

One of my regular strategies is to steer a rabbit into a wolf, wait for the wolf to catch it, then kill the wolf. Now it's like a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Has anyone else seen this?

yeah ive noticed that animals run faster in general specially the rabbits
