EDIT: Cancel that, sorry guys. After people were saying that it was working fine for them I checked it more carefully and it is working! It just takes a long time to warm up the air temperature when your fire is outside.

i had the same situation. no warmth given at all.

Same here, cost me a 55 day run. No warmth either.

PS: Open fires not in a stove outside.

It does take a considerable amount of time for the fire to heat up the air enough to affect you however. So if you wait until you are freezing, expect to lose another 10 to 20 percent of your condition before you warm up depending on the cold.
