Random thought... I still wonder where the blocked road at the end of Crumbling Highway would go, if the boulders were removed. And why there is never any loot tucked in back there.

Desolation Point I think.  The mine is a way around the blockage, but if the blockage were removed I am 95% sure it would lead to DP.

My thought as well. The Blocked Highway. But with the world map being a bit convoluted, a little open-ended, over the years... wouldn't it be interesting if it led elsewhere?

I was thinking more along the lines of Saskatchewan, but your idea sounds good too.  ;)

Not the Milton Basin.  This arch is in a restricted LDRMG area.

On the left side of this screen shot the arch can be identified.

Here are some pics of when I reached the region on the other side of the collapsed tunnel. I did it by climbing that hillside above the cave in that "region" between the picnic area and the path to Mystery Lake.

Note: It was about one year ago, before the REDUX. I tried to do it after the REDUX and I couldn't, I believe that it's not possible anymore.

Deathwalls abound so climbers should be wary of this area.  I found the Gray Wolf Mountain pass and had safe passage.  

The area is very much the same as before.  The arch was the only thing I noticed walking further down the road.  I suspect this leads to the Pleasant Valley transition area.
