Piling up wood

I'm in the mystery lake cabin and I'm loading in a shit pile of wood so I don't have to keep chopping. Anyway...I'm piling it in the same spot and there's a bunch of it on the floor, but now it's started to stack up right in mid air at eye level...just a bug but doesn't affect game play

Could you post a screenshot? I'm a little confused by what you mean. Like are you piling a bunch of wood in one spot and now its stacking on top of itself? cause that sounds... pretty normal to me. Or are you dropping wood and its just floating in the air now because theres so much wood lying around?

what i see in that image you posted is metal piling up on the metal lying on the floor, and one piece of it resting on the drawer's bottom. Not very realistic, but it makes sense.

It happens that if you drop something close enough to a horizontal surface, and the object is placed on it, even the tiniest portion, the object stands on that surface.

I use that effect to keep things in some sort of order.
