This thread is dedicated to amazing screenshots. Be sure to put it into screenshot mode seeing as we don't all need a reminder that we're starving/freezing to death.

Wilderness View From A Mountain I walked here for the shot, I didn't use console Fly mode

I did my own kind of hunting today.  I chased some deer into the path of a wolf, and the wolf took down a deer.  Than I drove the wolf off.  It's cool that the game engine lets the animal interaction work like that.

Outstanding!  You got quite a bloodbath going on here, got that dead deer in the background, and looks like your just about to meet your maker with wolf number two.  Is that your own puddle of blood here in the foreground...  From that angle it looks like this has got to be your last glimpse before you wandered off into the LD.

I'm very nervous, aiming my rifle through the cracks in the wall of the shack.

You were able to shoot through the planks?

My first ever moose was right there and got lucky with it being a one shot.

Congrats but don't start fires near a big carcass (bear or moose) because everything will rot before you can get it back

No, if the fire lasts just enough to shred it to bits AND DROP THEM. When the fire dies you'll have a pile of steaks on the ground so they'll last long in the cold outdoors.

That's how I killed my first moose. Funny story, and not as easy as I thought. Search for "carpenter moose".
