StillNomad 22
Is for me? Not fair. Bear has the last laugh. Dies on weak ice. (Forlorn Muskeg) Bear with a missing leg? Seems to have history. (Forlorn Muskeg) Old man's beard hanging in thin air. (Mystery Lake, Walking towards Frozen Creek from Unnamed pond) 1
baalzamon 5
I really like As the Dead Sleep challenge. Travelling all day while witnessing the varying beauty of the game environment in such a short time is amazing. Even the sprain pain blur adds something to the view :P It gets dark in Milton Basin A spooky night in Forlorn Muskeg (Marsh Ridge) Fog makes it scary on the way to the last grave in Coastal Highway Before sunrise in Coastal Highway No pain no gain, Forlorn Muskeg sunset The thing I liked the most about Coastal Highway is its vast icy sea An almost sunny(!) night which takes the mystery out of Mystery Lake Lonely end in Desolation Point I really hope to catch some nice shots in HRV and PV in my next gameplay.

k0s0ff 205
Hi. A little history of how I went to a new location. I gave up all my business in Milton and ran headlong to the new canyon. The mysterious lake met me with a beautiful sunset and absolute silence and emptiness. I prepared myself thoroughly for the trip. I Packed all the food I could carry. Repaired all the clothes. I took more or less new tools. and went to the hydroelectric station. I did not linger there, but went straight to the winding river. There I ambushed a wolf and had a snack. And there I noticed that some things are not touched. But I've been there more than once. Some of the vegetation was back in place. From there I went straight to the cave. It's the same in the cave. And in the pleasant valley and on the wolf mountain. And all my drawn map is gone. Due to the fact that I didn't have a map anymore, I got lost in the vicinity of wolf mountain. I wandered until nightfall, and before it was completely dark, a thick snow began to fall and I witnessed a beautiful picture. But all my suffering was not in vain. I was very much surprised by what I saw. This is probably the most beautiful location I've ever seen. This is just an insanely beautiful and carefully designed place. Everything is so cool that I forgot what to do except stare around. I fell in love and will stay there for a long time. 1
stratvox 673
So my current guy was in HRV, having spent about a hundred and sixty of about two hundred and eighty days in the Valley. This guy had started in HRV, done an early run to FM to make arrowheads, and then gone back to HRV with trips to the trailer above Milton to use the worktable to make arrows. When the new region opened up, I sent him on his way. A last look around and then the long trek out; MT, ML, WR, PV, and TWM... it took the better part of a week to get all the way to the goal. It took some wandering around before my guy climbed through the cave in Echo Ravine and found himself in AC. One particularly foggy day added to the stress of walking the rope bridges among the mesas: Eventually he found his way to the high point: He's been chilling at Miner's Folly, though he's expecting to have to move on soon. He's nearly three hundred days in and has a couple of weeks in AC and there's not a lot of sign, not seeing a lot of wildlife in there. Still, the views are incredible: I bet this place is off the hook in the early game before the game animal decline really bites into the populations. Lots to explore yet. 3

When they start to run... you ain't getting away. i sneak up on him from behind in crouched mode as you can see my footprints in the pics background. he's just snoring up a storm as i started to circle around him when all of a sudden the bear just got up then pawed the ground and laid back down. then, suddenly he jumps up makes that bleating noise and immediately slumps down into sleep. happened like 3 times in rapid succession before stopping and falling back to sleep. I took his pic then made a quick dash for the cabin!

baalzamon 5
I have spent 4-5 in game days in Ash Canyon so far and it is a fantastic map. I feel like I am playing a brand new exploration game. Half of the time I am taking screenshots (thanks to voyager +20 warmth ). I made two folders full of Ash Canyon screenshots and then made a third one named as best of. I also follow this thread to see others amazing shots, thanks for the views! These are low ground shots that I think reflects feeling lost and lonely. This extra is for the rabbit that warms both our heart and stomach
