The Long Dark (TR Çevirisi)

Recommended Posts

Merhaba arkadaşlar;

Sorry, I don't speak Turkish, so I'll leave to to someone in your section to translate for the others.

The devs likely haven't responded for multiple reasons: For one thing, the studio was closed for the holidays last month.

Also, while the translation file may eventually be considered by the studio once the game is closer to completion, they aren't high priority at this time since the game is constantly being changed and re-written. While a nice gesture, and I'm sure the studio appreciates your efforts; they need to fulfill their contracted language translations first [and as you've probably noticed, even just the first 2 translations require changing since the game is still in development].

They have hundreds of unsolicited requests and submissions to translate the game into various languages. As a professional studio, hopefully you can understand they can't simply drop in any file or translation sent in just because a user offered it. They must still take on the added expense of having the translations checked, additional translations done, re-coding menuing systems, verifying and testing all cue occurrences, and additional legal expenses.

It quite likely will happen that Hinterland will do a translation into Turkish (they won't be able to determine that decision until the game is closer to completion though) - there is a lot of text and dialogue still to be changed, as well as multiple menu systems.

The main reason they most likely haven't responded (if you notice, they haven't had as much time to answer questions on the forum this month) is because they're all focussed on the new areas and items being added into the next major update.

That's another reason why they can't just drop in other translations - they game is constantly expanding, so they can't simply drop in a current translation when that content may change (and then the if original contributor moved on to something else, they would still need to contract all the translations to be redone elsewhere).

That's why I say don't give up - at least you've taken the time to make the first files, so if the time and budget allows; then the devs will likely consider adding your translations to the finished version (or even possibly earlier)... but they do need to get previous committed translations done first [some initial funding was based on the agreement that specific languages would have translation and be included - so they're required in provide those as priority]. All other languages will be considered, but will also depend on market demand.

You can get an idea of the sales priority from their most recent Twitter post (they regularly post the countries for the public to see) https://twitter.com/RaphLife/status/553772919935873024

Hopefully some of that information will help. Like I said, don't give up on the translation (the devs do appreciate the efforts even if they don't always respond directly or immediately) -- but there is so much in the game constantly being changed during the alpha stage that they must limit the number of translations they can include during the early alpha development.

Genel itibariyle hızlıca cevirdim arkadaşlar.

"Sorry, I don't speak Turkish, so I'll leave to to someone in your section to translate for the others."

Üzgünüm türkçe bilmiyorum. Bu yüzden buradan başka birine, diğerleri için tercüme etsin diye bırakıyorum.

"The devs likely haven't responded for multiple reasons: For one thing, the studio was closed for the holidays last month."

Geliştiriciler birçok nedenden dolayı cevap veremiyorlar bunların ilki geçen ay tatilde olmaları.

"Also, while the translation file may eventually be considered by the studio once the game is closer to completion, they aren't high priority at this time since the game is constantly being changed and re-written. While a nice gesture, and I'm sure the studio appreciates your efforts; they need to fulfill their contracted language translations first [and as you've probably noticed, even just the first 2 translations require changing since the game is still in development]."

They have hundreds of unsolicited requests and submissions to translate the game into various languages. They must still take on the added expense of having the translations checked, additional translations done, re-coding menuing systems, verifying and testing all cue occurrences, and additional legal expenses.

Yüzlerce çeviri isteği ve gönderilmiş çeviri var. Umarım herhangi birisinden gelen bir çeviriyi sadece birisi istedi diye oyuna koyamayacaklarını anlarsınız. Çeviriyi kontrol etmek için kaynak harcamak zorundalar. Ek çeviriler yapmaları ve menü sistemini yeniden kodlamaları lazım. Kontrol ve test etmeleri lazım bunun yanında da bir miktar kanuni masraflar çıkacaktır.

"It quite likely will happen that Hinterland will do a translation into Turkish (they won't be able to determine that decision until the game is closer to completion though) - there is a lot of text and dialogue still to be changed, as well as multiple menu systems."

Büyük ihtimalle hinterland türkçe çeviri yapacak. ( Ama oyun çıkışı yaklaşmadan bu kararı veremeyebilirler.) Çok fazla yazı ve dialog değişecek menülerin değişeceği gibi.

"The main reason they most likely haven't responded (if you notice, they haven't had as much time to answer questions on the forum this month) is because they're all focussed on the new areas and items being added into the next major update."

Cevap vermemelerinin nedeni ( sizde farketmişsinizdir bu ay forumda da çoğu soruyu cevaplayamıyorlar) şuanda yeni bölgelere , aletlere ve bir sonraki büyük geliştirmeye tamamen odaklandıkları için.

"That's another reason why they can't just drop in other translations - they game is constantly expanding, so they can't simply drop in a current translation when that content may change (and then the if original contributor moved on to something else, they would still need to contract all the translations to be redone elsewhere)."

Bir başka sebepte oyun sürekli büyüor ve bu nedenle ceviriye yüklenemiyorlar çünkü içerikler değişebiliyor. Eğer orjinal iştirakçi başka birşeye yönlenirse tüm çevirilerin yeninden yapılması için bir contrata sahip olması gerekiyor.

"That's why I say don't give up - at least you've taken the time to make the first files, so if the time and budget allows; then the devs will likely consider adding your translations to the finished version (or even possibly earlier)... but they do need to get previous committed translations done first [some initial funding was based on the agreement that specific languages would have translation and be included - so they're required in provide those as priority].
