Can Only Carry 30 Pounds?

So I bought the game recently and am still playing on my very first load, so I have not died yet. I've seen people with that can carry up to 66 pounds in their backpack but for some reason I can only carry 30 pounds?

Most likely you have the game still set for Metric...

You can change to pounds and Fahrenheit displays in your Options - selecting Imperial measurements

Yup, metric uses kg (kilogram) and 30kg = 66 pounds
