We've mentioned no light / flame coming from fires,

Just encountered another one.

I Failed making a fire, then tried again, my skill went up, but the fire did not start.

Tried again, spent materials, no fire, no fail notice, skill went up, but no fire.

Skill should not increase on failure -- so that is definitely a bug to fix.

There isn't a fail notice in the form of text, but Mackenzie should have some choice words about it.

I believe the status bar notes the failure.

You are right -- it says "Failed" when you fail to start the fire (assuming you have the materials to make an attempt). Will try to repro the issues you found.

Besides what I put up there, I was at the logging camp.

I'll try to replicate, but I cant seem to force myself to fail at making a fire, and theres only so much material.

Rob -- it's cool. As the testing pool grows, we'll be able to narrow down the instances where this occurs.

I just failed on a fire and was unable to replicate.

Might be an isolated incident, but I'll keep my eye out.
