Items between locations

From the start - sry for my english.

Can anyone tell me what happens when you're change the location. I've playing not so much time and i dont understand what will be with ur staff when u chanhge it. I have survived for 20 days on mistery lake and wanna to go to another map. But the lot of my items like food and drink, lot of material i'd like to take with myself. Is anything happend with it?

Please give me the answer and i'll go there.

Nothing will happen to your items when you go to the other map. Everything you take with you will still be with you when you get to the other map. Everything you left behind will still be there when you go back (if it hasn't deteriorated of course).
