Rifle Disappears from Safe

When looting the safe inside the Dam, a hunting rifle appeared as one of its loot items, which I picked up. Shortly thereafter, when attempting to equip the rifle using the 'equip rifle' hotkey, I received a message that I had no firearms. Upon checking my inventory, there indeed was no rifle there.

I'm not sure how to reproduce this bug as it is the only time I've seen a hunting rifle as loot from a safe.

I think the first bug is that there was a rifle in the safe. It's the first time I've heard of anyone finding a rifle in a safe... And I doubt a rifle would fit in a small safe like that anyway.

Maybe it was really something else in the safe and the game mistakenly showed you the picture of the rifle..?

A rifle is not a valid item to find in a safe. If you see this happen can you grab a screenshot?
