Thank you.  Most of my paintings are around for several weeks or months and I work on them at my leisure, so I could only guess at the actual hours.  It's probably not that many, unless you count contemplation time as well.  I like to take my time with some decisions in a painting, while other parts are hammered out pretty quick. I often build the frame and stretch the canvas too, so there's a few hours.  lol   This feels like a terrible answer, but hopefully not so bad.  Thank you for asking, though. 😀

The two things I love most about the pieces you've shown us are the tiny details that complete the picture and the fact that if you look at it just slightly sideways you get the feeling its somewhere you've been or could have been.
