Dissappearing salmon

Found a cooked salmon in the fridge.

Although this was a first time search, a menu appeared as if I had placed the salmon there earlier.

When trying to move the salmon to my inventory, the game froze for a second while a click-sound was rapidly repeated.

After that, the fridge was empty and I had no salmon.
