Thermos, Fire starting bow, Spear, Outdoor storage of food

Played and loved TLD since 2016 and Im all positive on the progress so far! Makes it hard not to think about ways to make it even more immersive and vast.

 

- Thermos (tool) to make bringing hot food outpossible. Rare item.

- Improvised spear (weapon) to equip if a Wolf is closing in, to possibly impale and not have to start a struggle.

- Fire starting bow (tool), an improvised Fire starter, low success-rate.

- Storing food outdoors (to keep it fresh longer) will attract wild life. Need to hide it in car/other container. Could make for good trap as well, just wait for the wolf...

Also, a Compass (tool) that you can combine with the mapping mechanic, and to navigate in snow storms. I think I saw that menthioned in another post, not sure though.

Skis (tool) to make traveling across snow less energy-consuming or a bit faster. Maybe with its own skill.

I do agree with all the OP proposals, especially the natural firestarting.

Compass: not for me, just make sure the sun in correctly set up

skis: not for me, or maybe crafted and only if all other directions than "forward" have a penalty, very hard to turn, penalty with struggle...
