Gogolo
Hi Hinterland forums! First off, thank you very much whoever decided this game should be a part of the Steam Nov. 26th - Dec. 2nd sale. I was considering already buying it, but as a student I couldn't pass this up for only $11 CAD!The reason I'm posting though, is this screenshot. Now, I've played through 3 times so far, lasting 6 hours, 2days 23hours, and over a day (I'm still alive) on my most recent playthrough. Every time, I've died to wolves. That in and of itself is okay, grey wolves, and timberwolves (not sure which are featured in this game), are my favourite animals, and are REALLY scary! Some weight close to 200 pounds, and they're pure muscle, proper predators. But then this happened at the coastal cottages! As you can see, there are a LOT of wolves in this small cottage area, I quickly counted at least like 14 wolves chasing around 3 rabbits. At first, there were only two or three. So, I went to each of the cottages outrunning the wolves stalking around, barely making it each time. That was awesome. But I expected them to eat their fill, and move on. Problem is, even after searching all three cottages, and sleeping 11 hours until morning, the number of wolves outside only increased, still chasing what seemed to be the same two or three rabbits. Can anyone explain what's happening and how to escape? There's so many wolves outside I can't escape because there just isn't enough rabbits to keep them distracted Thanks for making this game, I am very proud to support a Canadian game with a Canadian setting.GogoloP.S. I only have this debug screenshot from F8, as when I pressed F10 to take a high-res screenie, the game crashed I'm running Windows 7 64-bit (SDD) on an i5 4440, with a Gigabyte GTX 660. Bill Tarling
It's a known bug multiplying the wolves in that area. The devs are working on a hotfix v.164 right now

tempes156
Running TLD on the new update, sandbox, coastal highway.Found myself being stalked by a single wolf at the Water Front Cottages so stayed inside a whole night. Went to leave, and there were a 'few'...at least three wovles right outside.Stayed another night and upon trying to leave...at least fifteen, maybe twenty, wolves right outside. I can't leave...tried running, no good.Tried to fend of even one with the new strength thing and I can't get it to work at all.

You would need to be one hell of an unarmed combatant tough-guy lumberjack pilot Canadian bad ass to survive a wolf attack. As for the hotfix, steam says it's out but I can't seem to get it to update! (Still says v163 in top left of main menu)Any tips?
