Regarding Guts

So I notice that guts only come from deer. Are there plans to add it to wolves as well? Would make a nice alternate source of guts for snares. Also, perhaps rabbits could also yield a single unit of guts? That would also solve the problem of rabbit snare inefficiency, as you would only need reclaimed wood to craft another snare after your first catch, instead of having to hunt a deer again.

Wolves used to have guts (1 per wolf), but that's been removed, probably for balance reasons. People used to hunt wolves instead of deer partly because their meat had 1.5x the calories as venison (but you also got less meat). So they lowered the calories of wolf meat and removed the guts so people would be more inclined to hunt the deer.

and in TLD the deer also had more guts than wolves... 2 vs 1. Now it's 2 vs 0. Real wolves do have guts.

Well, with today's update, wolves do indeed have guts.

P.S. If I spin this discussion a little further we'll soon be able to harvest rabbit testicles, because they got the biggest balls!

Yes! Wolves have got their guts back (used to have them in v.127 already)
