Redux E1, missing gloves and cache

So I am playing through redux, and it looks like I am ready to leave Milton for good. Grey Mother won't talk to me anymore. The only thing I haven't notched, as far as I can tell, is to trap a rabbit (I have snares set out but no luck yet). 

Did I do something wrong? Or is there a bug? Because I can't make rabbit gloves, and I haven't gotten the last supply cache. There doesn't appear to be a trust mechanic anymore. 

Anybody able to tell me what I am doing wrong?

In all honesty I scoured the map for any notes or books but Im pretty confident they've been downright removed. Perhaps you will get acess to the gloves in EP 2. I don't know as I haven't played it yet.

When you trap a rabbit, it completes the quest and unlocks both rabbit skin recipes, I believe. The rabbit gloves that I found were after Milton. And yes, Trust has been entirely removed.

Why do people always assume there is a bug when they don't understand something? There are some bugs, but the game has changed. Don't assume that things work as before or an in the same place as before

There are caches in Milton that require a note to show up on the map.  I made sure to get each one so I could finish up my last 3 achievements: Cache Mastery, Sounds Like Some Kind of Indie Band & Too Big to Fail
