#338 Deer stuck running on the same spot (weak ice)

I saw a deer near the bridge between rockfall area and the fishing camp and I was trying to scared him towards a wolf. The deer got stuck running against an invisible wall (weak ice). I got closer to him but he kept running on the same spot, he wouldn't turn around.

I've seen deer get trapped on visible objects before, but never on invisible ones But once they're stuck like that, they won't get loose no matter from what direction you approach them in my experience.

The same thing happened to me, except the deer was stuck against a fallen tree. Just for fun I tried lighting a fire under it, but it wasn't cooked - it just kept on running.

You should shoot it and see if you can now harvest cooked venison

Hate to somewhat necro his thread, but I didn't want to open up any duplicate threads that reiterate the same base problem. Now I'm still on my game continuing from v.170, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I just stumbled upon two rabbits having a bad time being stuck on seemingly nothing.

Most of the time it's a navmesh issue. The bug is already in the system though so someone is looking at it.

Fixed in next release, but there may be instances where it crops up again in specific areas.
