FoneBoneJay
1. Food Poisoning Is Too Lethal2. Time spent searchingFood Poisoning is massively over powered...This is the biggest immersion buster for me, you can and will die of food poisoning because there is no real remedy against it unless you down two antibiotics. This is a show stopper for me. In the real world food poisoning is not going to be lethal in almost all cases. Only certain types of food poisoning are lethal because of a variety of conditions in the game each case of food poisoning is lethal without treating it with a limited medication supply. Once the pills are gone so is any chance of recovering after that. There are strategies to negate these risks but I’m keeping those top secret. The fundamental game breaker is that this mechanic should not be lethal. Yes it should induce fever, rapid fatigue, and dehydration combat-able with water and it should affect your condition because with food poisoning you are in no condition to do a long distance trek however it should not be lethal and it is in game. When the food ran out the Donner party ate snow, leather, bark and each other, they didn't die of food poisoning because they ran out of antibiotics, they died from STARVATION. The guys who lived who did not survive in ALIVE, they died from their crash injuries, the trauma, internal bleeding, no medical care from traumatic injuries, nobody died from foot poisoning. We spend too much time searching for stuff. Yes there is a lot of stuff to locate but I think the time spent searching each time should be slightly reduced in favor of spending more time moving around, hunting, crafting, foraging, and the like. Those are my two main feed-backs at present. Very playable Alpha, very enjoyable and fun to play. Thank you for the efforts so far looking forward to The Long Dark in 2015. FoneBoneJay
Again my 2 issues, 1. Food Poisoning way too lethal. This is a bogus way to die. 2. Wolves are disappearing after you've killed them before you have harvested all their meat. They should be either permanently left on the map or left on the map for 7-14 days. They disappear in hours and it sucks because I cant get all the meat sometimes.

I heavily agree with these statements. The searching inductions are too long and food poisoning is crazy.
