Lore Topic: Meta-Gaming (rules abuse)

I'm trying to put together a definitive list of all the ways to abuse the game. The various exploits and bugs in one video. I at first didn't think it was a good idea, but on consideration, it occurred to me that all the information is out there already, just not centralized. A centralized video would do the following:

1. It would warn people about how these bugs ruin the game.

2. It would point out to HLG exactly what the exploits were so they could definitively make a choice if they wanted to correct them or leave them in as part of game play.

3. Level the playing field between the noob and the "professional".

I have noticed that on some of the videos where you see people doing these amazing 500 day runs, they used the cattail exploit for example. I'm proud to say I didn't even know it existed until after I did my 500 day stalker run. But I'll be damned if it isn't temping to use it on the 200+ day run of loper I'm on. There is a part of me that feels to spread it is to "ruin" the game for others, but on the other hand, I am also of the belief if you never talk about a problem, it'll never get fixed. In the end, since I can find the information relatively easily, I see no reason to not create an aggregate video so as to highlight the problem.

 

So, to that end I ask the following:

 

1) Do you know of any "exploits" or bugs in the game that you consider "cheating"? Feel free to DM me instead of posting here. I want to get all of them together in one video and then let individual players decide if they want to watch it. I think I have most of them.

2) Anyone interested in doing an live stream discussion of this topic some weekend. My stream time is between 11pm EST and 5am EST  Fri-Sat, Sun-Mon. So DM me if that works for you and if I get enough people, we'll set a date.
