Boreal
Has anyone watched this documentary? It is currently on Netflix. The film follows a few pelt trappers in the Siberian Taiga. The film has beautifully filmed and narrated by Werner Herzog. There are a few lessons to be learned about surviving in harsh winter climates. A few for example: Constructing durable skis, making traps, and birch bark insect repellent. Watch a trailer here: If you have seen it, what did you find particularly interesting? If you haven't seen it then you should give it a try!Edit: Did not see the movie section. If a moderator could relocate this thread...I would appreciate it! Shadrach
Thanks for the tip, a great documentary and I love Werner Herzog's voiceover. Cave of Forgotten Dreams and Grizzly Man is highly recommended obviously.I remember seeing a documentary a few years back on the subject of Siberia, but can't remember the name of it. It had some scenes with native Siberian peoples as well.
