Quash
You don't run as fast on the "snow-less" train bridge on Mystery Lake, as you do on the "snow-less" roads on Coastal Region.
Admin
Tracks aren't as smooth as a road, so slower running on track would make sense... most likely not a bug[post moved to feedback section unless devs determine it's a bug and not by design
elloco999
Yes, but the bridge is wide enough to run besides the tracks on the apparently wooden planks the bridge is made off. Those make for a completely flat surface, but don't grant you faster movement. Still a bug if you ask me.
TattooedMac
I agree that this wouldn't be a bug, as there ha never been a issue with the running, walking speeds. I just tried it, and I don't see a big difference in speed at all. IRL I would be running slower on a rail bridge anyways, due to wetness and chance of slipping. elloco999
In real life you would also be running slower on frozen tarmac then, so why is running on tarmac faster and running on flat planks not?
Burning Bridges
Probably because you need to be more careful? You could try running on a railway track, it would work for some time, but eventually you miss one crosstie and fall, in a pretty nasty way. Dark
It is very long ago (25 years) that i have run on a rail track. But from my past experience (which is very tainted), i would state that it is clearly not so good like a road.
Burning Bridges
The question is if running on any frozen surface with 30kg gear is such a good idea at all. In all footage showing people in arctic conditions I have never seen someone run. I personally have learned that it is no problem to ride with the bicycle on snowed surfaces (only ice is dangerous) but I wouldn't run.
