There is a house...

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I noticed a funny house design some 1.5 year ago. I thought update was on the way, but since there was no change, I post it here. The problem is, that the house looks different from the outside than from the inside. Here are my screenshots (the last one is one theoretical version, how it should look like - it's a very rough sketch made with Paint):

Good find. However, I would think that there are more examples of this kind of discrepancy in the game.

Well, I'm not necessarily seeking them, but "walking with open eyes". :)

So far I found only this discrepancy in structures/buildings.

Yeah I noticed this too.
Also some house like the one you mention here have a door in the hallway (or besides the hallway) which can't be opened. I always wondered if Story mode would change this.

There is a house in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one

Have you ever wondered where the chimney of the pot belly stove on the first floor of the Camp office on Mystery Lake goes?

Here's a screenshot that shows just that. ;)

And there must be a portal system between them.

Why? Two individual stacks works just fine, or maybe I'm misunderstanding you.

The chimney on the left side of the photo should be on the far right side of the roof.

@Hawk Great catch ... Even after thousands of hours in game and a few LONG runs based out of Camp Office I never noticed that.

No, actually - it's in the right place. Look at this shot and compare.

I've mainly been amused by the bigger-on-the-inside nature of almost all the houses.

But the pot belly chimney goes through the floor...

I guess you could make the point that it 90's in the floor over to the wall and then 90's up the wall. 9_9

Don't know the laws of Canada, but in my country the fire safety inspector would f*ck the owner inside out for such a twist.

Good job discovering that house. However, does it have any extraordinary?
