No strength bar or LMB/RMB tooltips during wolf attacks

I'm not sure if this is a settings thing or a bug, but I've never fought off a wolf before because I never knew you could! I don't get the Strength bar and the "LMB: Build attack strength, RMB: Attack" messages. Is there a way to turn these prompts on? If it's a bug, do you want a screenshot and system specs?

There is a setting in the options for the interface (normal, debug or none). It may be if you set that to none the message won't appear. On normal or debug it should.

I checked the menu, and it was set to normal. Then I was eaten by a wolf, and the bar was there. It's almost like I had to see it in the options for it to be there. Odd, but it works now. Thanks.

Well, there was (is?) a bug where if you set the interface to debug, it will not show up after loading a save, but going to the options will activate it. Maybe what you're experiencing here is related to that bug.
