Should I wait upcoming episodes ?

Hi,

I've recently bought the game and I love it !

I was going to play the story mode then after the survival mode and challenges but, when I finished episode 2, I have understood that 3 episodes were missing.

For some reason, I really wished to play stories before sandbox... I guess because I don't want to be too much an experienced survivor so I can be surprised on the next upcoming episodes adventures.

What do you guys think... Do playing survival mode while waiting episodes can makes them less funnier or something when it comes out ?

Or the challenges ?

I would like to know what you guys think about that.

( Sorry for my english )

I don't know when Episode 3 is due (hopefully we get some information about that soon, but at a guess it might be a month or two or three away). And it's likely to be a long wait until all 5 episodes of Wintermute are done.

If you're enjoying the game and want to keep playing it without just repeating the first two Wintermute episodes over and over, then I would definitely advise trying the Survivor Mode and Challenges. A lot of people who play TLD (vast majority, I'd expect) will have played with the other game modes before they see the forthcoming parts of the story, so new episodes will be designed with that in mind - they should be challenging enough for experienced players, and possibly even contain new features that we won't have seen before in the rest of the game. Plus, you can choose a higher difficulty setting for Wintermute in order to keep it challenging, if you've become comfortable with the survival mechanics.

I recommend playing the Nomad challenge before you get too familiar with the different maps in Survivor Mode, though - it's much more interesting when you don't know beforehand exactly where everything is and how to to get there by the safest/fastest routes. In fact, it's pretty boring if you do know the maps well!
