Where is the plane?

So the story so far is that you crash landed in the Canadian wilderness. So where is the plane?

How about instead of starting off with supplies, you start with nothing but the cloths on your back.

And until you find the plane that is close by, you will have nothing. The plane would have basic survival needs, maybe some energy bars. Something to start you off on your great journey.

You're right, the story is that you crashed your plane. But you're not playing the story just yet, you're playing the sandbox where you're just someone in a survival situation.

You are right , we should wait and see what story mode holds

I actually think they will add this to the sandbox as well, but they just haven't developed it yet as it doesn't really add much to the sandbox experience. For the story mode is necessary so they will develop it at some point and I expect the plane to be added to the sandbox at that time as well. A crash site would be a nice touch...
