Steam Achievement not tracking?

Thought I would start here and will likely post on Steam forums also.  I'm on day 459 and the progress meter for the achievement "The Will to Live" is only showing 172/500?  I did turn off steam synchronization for a bit but have it back on now.  Ideas?

I know for sure I've completed some of the achievements, but I guess it takes a while for it to realize your progress.

Also be aware that the "days survived"in your journal may not coincide correctly with the hours survived due to the fact it counts your first day (even if you spawned in just before midnight) as a full day in the journal and therefore is always ahead of your actual hours survived. , so your journal will most lilely say, "day 501" before you get the achievement.

As for the steam progress bar, ive had it say i was on day 20 when i was only on day 1.
