Found a ravaged wolf carcass at the bottom of the Broken Railroad ravine.

As the title says; I found a ravaged wolf carcass at the bottom of the ravine in BR. Under the train bridge.

Can we just find wolf carcasses around now or was this just the devs messing around with the ravaged wolf carcass model and they forgot to take it out?

I've found that there as well. The same model as (SPOILER) the dead Fluffy in Story Mode. Perhaps it fell down there, or found it's way down there and died from starvation, etc. May have been ravaged by birds, theoretically. There should also be a corpse + backpack and a deer carcass down there, as well as some sticks and firewood. As far as I know, the area is unreachable without mods, yet the presence of resources and a lootable backpack suggests that players are somehow meant to be able to reach it.

I have never seen one in the game before... but I always assumed they can exist. Because wolves will run away from the bears... maybe the bears can actually hunt them, similarly like wolves do with the deer? No idea tho, never seen it happen in game before, could be a wintermute thing, dont have no experience with Wintermute yet.

The wolf carcass is present in Broken Railroad in both Story mode and Survival mode, just so you know. Although, there may be a % chance whether is spawns or not, like all other corpses. My theory is that it was ravaged by crows, even though birds are not shown to actually go down and peck at carcasses, it's pretty much inferred.

I managed to Skyrim down there with god mode off. But there's no easy way down. Maybe there will be a cave leading down there.

Would like to see that happen

Good find there mate... One of these days, Imma start a fresh Voyageur run in BR and run right off that bridge to see if I can spot it on the way down.

I'm betting on the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog..

If that's the case, we're screwed... I have never, in all the times I've played, found a Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

You need to meet a monk by chance, he will give it to you if the trust is high enough. Just convince him that you are the king of Britain.

This is from the patch notes of the latest update (v1.14):

I'm guessing that "river area" refers to where this wolf is... Imma check it out once I have time to play.

Watchout man, the only thing that could ravage a wolf like that would be a Bear, they're natural enemies and competitors in the wild:o

Maybe there's something else to discover down there too;) Good Luck!

Sooooo.......

* Episode Two & Survival Mode: Added Rope Climb to River area in Broken Railroad region.

Don't go down there. There's no trigger on the rope to climb back up. I'm stuck down there.  My game didn't have a rope pre attached, I put my own on, climbed down, and napped for the climb back up, so it saved, with me standing at the bottom of an un-climbable rope.     :(

Yep... Well you could go there in an exploratory run like I did, but don't go don't there in one of your long term stalker or interloper runs. There must be some sort of bug. There are also no resting ledges along this rope climb... Maybe it isn't completely finished. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On the bright side, the ravaged wolf carcass is still there... Along with two ravaged deer carcasses and what I think is frozen corpse, but it seems to be buried in snow or logs or something, the only indicator are the crows flying overhead and the backpack.

Does a rope spawn in BR?  If so, where?  I just started 5 pilgrim sandboxes to go take a look at this, but I can't seem to find a rope.  Do I have to bring it from a different zone?

I've never seen one in BR, but others have claimed they've found one in the lodge. But don't climb down there, u can't get back out, and there's literally zero reason for going down

I saw your three threads warning about this.   So I'm using a throw away sandbox to check it out.
