wolfankles
Not entirely sure if this is the right place to post it, but I exited Carter Dam just now and saw a dear carcass on top of a rocky outcrop. As I feel I must eat 6 or 8 pounds of venison a day, I tried very hard to get to the top of the rocky outcropping but wound up trapped between a sheer ice incline and big fallen tree. There was no way under, over, or thru any of the obstacles, and I would have been forced to live out my life in a tiny, frozen triangle of space between the rock, the ice, and the log. As I have died many, many embarrassing deaths in the canadian cold, I found my inability to escape what seemed like a minor geographical inconvenience a hilarious way to go. Not sure if it's working as intended. Only way to fix it was to exit the game.
TROY
There is a way to get to the deer carcass. Theres often a corpse there as well, or instead. To the far right of the outcrop, you can step onto a lower ledge, then follow it towards the point of the outcrop, and keep tying to strafe right as you go. You will eventually pop up onto the next ledge, and then the top. Just be careful you dont slide off the end first. It may take some wiggling, but you can get up there. You can also go down to the river and if you keep looking right, theres a second trail up, that brings you the long way around to the backside of that outcrop. Someone else was recently lamenting about getting in spot they couldnt get out of. I guess I've been lucky. It's never happened to me in almost 700 hours of gameplay. But a good number of people have.
Hesha
Yeah, this can happen. Quite annoying, especially if it happens like it happened to me. Another spot where you can get stuck is at the exit from Forlorn Muskeg to Mystery Lake. There is a wall of logs to the right of the exit and you can get trapped between said logs and the hill as well. This would could easily be fixed, however, by extending the area in which you can click to leave the map out a bit further.
