 I hate how you have to be tired to sleep, also I dislike that you can hear stuff when your sleeping.

Who cares if you can hear stuff while sleeping? It doesnt really matter except for scaring the player, because they cant wake up on their own anyways, they are either going to die or get woken up automatically. I would argument that for some people, what they hear while they sleep can influence their dreams, for example I have it that way. So I really dont have a problem with that. In fact, I think I prefer it to a dead, complete silence. Unless there was some nice music playing, but even if one is sleeping for 14 hours, that time ingame is not long enough to play special music.

While I agree with you that it is pretty stupid that one cannot sleep when they are not tired, I understand why it is that way. It is neccesary to work this way for the sake of game balance - because sleeping does not only replenish energy, it is also essential to replenishing lost condition, curing afflictions, or passing time without losing energy, like "waiting" does.

If it was possible to sleep when one is fully rested, the game would pose no challenge at all because you could always just sleep your problems away, afflictions would be especially easy to handle.

They made it that way so you can't sleep for 100 days straight. In earlyer versions you could but me and other people where complaining about it.
