The Sun does't always rise is the East in Canada

Anybody else notice that according to the way the different regions are connected in the World Map, the Sun comes up it the West in several of the regions?  I've noticed that  sunrise in ML and BR is in the West.  What's kind of funny is that if you travel form ML to BR during the morning hours you'll see the Sun in front of you as you approach the tunnel from ML to FM.  When you pop out in FM, the sun is behind you in the East (where it should be in the AM).  If you cross thru FM and enter BR, the Sun is directly in front of you again.

I know that Hinterlands has tweaked the path of the Sun in many of the regions over the years, but as we never had a Word Map before (that I'm aware of) I never paid it that much attention.  Guessing most players don't navigate by the Sun as we have the maps more-or-less memorized, but it would be a nice touch of realism to make it consistent throughout the game.

I tried navigating by the sun but I also had doubts about its reliability, plus you almost never have a day where you can clearly see the sun long enough to track its path through the sky. I always wanted to take more notice but I get so lost in the daily activities that I never think about it.

Landmarks are still more reliable, though. The sun often isn't clearly visible and when it is clear it's easier to spot landmarks as well and determine your position and direction from that, which seems more accurate to me.
