Fuarian
I don't own TLD on Steam so I could not purchase the soundtrack. However in the description it gives us the titles of all the tracks. I found it interesting how for the Survival Mode section there are way more tracks here than in game. There are 26 tracks availiable for Survival Mode in this OST but in the actual game there are way less. I have played the game long enough to know this. And I also know for a fact that there were some tracks that used to be in Survival Mode but were removed some time back in the alpha. As I don't hear those specific tracks anymore. Which could explain why there are more tracks for download than in game. But I still want to know if this is the case or if they added those tracks back in with the release of Wintermute. I have played Sandbox a bit since but never heard anything knew. So if anyone can confirm... Thanks. -Fu
Patrick Carlson
If I understand your question, I don't know of any "new" ambient music cues added to Survival Mode at launch, but there are a lot of them in there. Shorter tracks, longer tracks, and some that only play in certain regions. This might help explain why you feel there are so many of them. Hope that helps! Hmm, I have encountered some very rare ones. But some of them I used to hear seem absent. I've tried various ways and gotten into various situations to trigger them but I still haven't found them. As for the tracks that play only in certain regions. I'd like to know more about. Because I have always heard the same soundtracks in all of the regions. It USED to be this way with certain daytime only tracks. Pleasant Valley held the title for some of them. But after the Tireless Menace update I found that those tracks now played in all the regions. There are quite a few of the older tracks that only play in Survival Mode.. could the reason you're not hearing them be that you're playing Story Mode? CitrinePeridot
I hate to do this, but I tried the "Support" link to post, but it kept telling me it couldn't locate the URL for that. How do I get this to play? LOL I tried Steam's support on this, but it's saying it can't/won't address an issue with a file from another party though they sold it to me. Please help me. Thank you. We're having a few issues with one of our websites, which is where that contact/support page lives - the support email is always support@hinterlandgames.com. What is your specific question about the Soundtrack? If you bought it and you aren't seeing it in your Library under music, it's likely because you need to rescan your game files to see the Soundtrack - go to Steam Settings>Music and then rescan your files. It should show up in your library then. Thanks.

LOL I am new to Steam too, and I kept clicking on the picture on the opening "page" for my account with (imagine this) nothing happening. Thank you again. I appreciate it. :-)
