ialpiriel Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I'm going to report this as a bug ASAP, but I thought I'd ask here first--cured deer hide for sure and fresh deer hide iirc don't seem to have the correct object collision, or the other hides don't. Either way, deer hide is different. You seem to be able to overlap deer hide when manually placing objects with the left click, unlike other hides/guts. I can't pin down an exact start date, though I remember it wasn't like this pre-Faithful Cartographer. I'm on Pilgrim, if that changes anything. Screenshots to demonstrate what I'm talking about: wolf hide--objects can't intersect cured gut rabbit deer--I can overlap these only, for some reason. I'm just not sure which of these is the intended behavior, so I'm not sure exactly how to report this as a bug.
L² Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Actuall @ialpiriel , this behavior has been in the game for many versions of the sandbox prior to the launch of the release. For me, I've considered the deer hide behavior as the correct behavior and the others to be wrong. Just my 2¢
Fuarian Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Been there for a while, they probably kept it in because it's not much of an issue. I just think of it as stacking the hides.
