SurvivorX Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Ok... I have been playing this game for at least a year. I have survived many days in the sandbox and found much peace in wandering the wilderness landscapes trying to survive. But now at the end of episode 2 it turns into breaking bad or some serial good guys verses bad guys situation. I quit playing COD, medal of honor and such games for the peace and tranquility of the long dark. How will the wonderful music score ever match orange leisure suit Larry and his sociopathic and violent tendencies? Is this really the direction the game is going in? If so I am so utterly disappointed.... Too much drama for me. Did I mention that I am disappointed?????
Stanimal032 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I was so excited during Episode 1. As I said in the topic I started a few minutes ago, the story completely comes off the rails in Episode 2. The Jeremiah missions and everything are nothing but tedious and thrown together. "Oh, by the way, you've survived this last month or so in the wild all by yourself and saved my ass from a bear. Let me teach you how to survive in the wild before you go on!"

There's still peace to be found in the world, despite wildlife like the Old Bear or characters who have less-than-honorable intentions. But even though it's a Quiet Apocalypse, it's an apocalypse all the same - a paradigm shift. But we welcome your feedback, and we hope you stick around for future episodes so you can see for yourself the direction of the story.
SurvivorX Posted August 11, 2017 Author Posted August 11, 2017 Of course I am going to stick around I am invested... Just a little disappointed that once again a "bad guy" has the upper hand and has invaded my snowy paradise. Bears and wolves (even in overabundance) are just following instinct. Mr. Whiteface - orange jumpsuit - no locks in my world - therefore I must hurt you... is just evil so here is to hoping a bear eats him later or that he is involved in a tragic flare gun accident. Guess I don't like bullies but I understand that in an apocalypse worse things will probably happen.
