SteveP Posted May 29, 2017 Share Posted May 29, 2017 I recently added my own steam account to my PC so that my son and I could both use Steam at once (on separate PCs) After installation, the game discovered the existing data and game was already installed so it did not create a separate data space for my Steam account. Shouldn't a separate Steam account also have a separate save space? It's not a big deal since there are still multiple save slots however if we purchase the game twice, it should be separate. Shouldn't a separate Steam account also have a separate save space? Do you and your son use separate Windows logins on the PC, or share the same Windows user account? Because I'd expect to see this problem if you share the same login on the PC. See this thread and the replies, for what I think is going wrong for you.
