reclaiming wood indoors

i think one of the current broken mechanics is reclaiming wood indoors which can be done to infinity (ive harvested hundreds of Kg of wood from one cabin)

maybe if we can select certain pieces of furniture to harvest, or certain parts of floors, or walls etc. maybe harvesting parts of walls increases interior temp

True, there should be a finite amount of wood that can be harvested from any indoor location.

You could also make indoor furniture disappear when you have harvested there. But that would be a pretty tall order, wouldn't it? ^^

ya the disappearing furniture/walls/floorboards would be ideal, but maybe just a "i cant see anything useful" when you try to forage or something like that over x kg. also a declining chance of foraging indicating increased difficulty of foraging when in a house, or even outside in a given area

I think the graphic work needed to create diminishing structures would be very cool, but not a good investment of development time.

I do agree that there should be a finite amount of wood you can reclaim, determined by the sq. ftage of the building you're in.
