Game crashes in first menu (Win10)

Dear all,

First off: a happy new year to everyone!

Now to my crash: it occurred right after loading the game the first time after the v.388 update. I started the game, deemed that I didn't have enough time, so I wanted to quit. I hit the [QUIT] button and was greeted with the message "error occurred -- game crashed -- please send in your crash report..."

 

So here I am reporting ;o)
