Fight wolf with hammer. Wolf instantly runs away.

Inventory has the tools: Hammer, Prybar, Hacksaw... inclusive.

Wolf charges me. I start left clicking. Animation of hammer swinging. Wolf cries. Wolf runs away. My view changes to looking straight up. Animation of both my arms flailing for about 5 secs. Game returns to normal. I never take any damage. Only tested on Interloper -> Mystery Lake.

for the first time ever I ran into this one. I was up near the church in DP and still had the hammer (Usually I leave it at the riken) I thought it was weird but forgot to report it and to take screen caps. I can confirm on win 10 steam.

I think this has happened to me as well. I noticed after about 30 in game days that whenever a wolf attacked me, I would do the usual knife fight and the wolf would run away, but the damage I should have taken never affected me. The afflictions did pop up on screen but they were gone as soon as I went in to the menu to check. Not sure what was in my inventory but I have had hacksaws, prybars, the hammer etc. I just thought I got lucky but it actually seems like a bug of sorts.
