Tarflink
Howdy, So after having intestinal parasites, cabin fever, and food poisoning. I was just wondering if "rabbit fever" or the more common name "scurvy" is in the game? For all you +1000 days and going strong folks. Vitamin C deficiency, from living off just meat. I'm not real sure on how long it takes to develope, I'd assume a month or 3 so 90 days of nothing but meat and fish you could contract it. Rose hips is 1 cure, so is makeing a tea from pine needles. Not sure on peaches.
Wastelander
It's not in the game right now. Would need some new mechanics as well, something like a vitamin-meter (since peaches do carry vitamins). I'd be in the market for that though - maybe eating animal organs could supply us with the necessary fats and vitamins? I know that fish eyes carry some vitamins. Welcome to the forums, by the way
Dirmagnos
It simply wont work without adding an extended rework of whole cooking and looting(including both animals and environment) systems. On the other hand devs did add parasites that dont make any sense.

And I know the devs have discussed rabbit-starvation as a possible affliction. Also it should be noted that the game tracks a few stats not normally visible to the player, I know wetness is one. So I'd say it's not impossible.

zalmarino
I suggest that we need to add such common disease as common cold, with raised body temperature and such.
CarolinaSantAngelo
Definitely. It would be interesting to think that we need to have eventually some variety to the diet or in the long game specially we'll find ourself with big troubles like lack of vitamin C. Would have to rework a lot of things though, probably when cooking and everything is changed.
Baukster77
Lack of vitiamins crossed my mind multiples times during long game play. But I have no idea how hard it is to implement such things in a game. It would be fun if the devs added more (longtem?) diseases/afflictions to make the game a bit more difficult. Once you know how it 'works', the game gets easier and easier. Adding a disease like that and more items to forage like pine needles would be fun.
