Shouldn't that be #alltoolsmatter?

Back on topic, I think I can see another use for the prybar: Disassembling cars into smaller pieces which you can then chop up with the bandsaw. Could also be an alternative tools for destroying furniture, slower than the hatchet but better than nothing.

NO. BLASPHEMY. #PRYBARSAREPEOPLETOO #ALLLIVESMATTER #PRYBARPRIDE

in seriousness though, i do like the idea of using heavy tools such as the prybar or hammer to break up furniture. thats something thats always bothered me - i can rip apart a large crate or a sturdy chair with my bare hands in an hour, but i think a prybar would save you a bit of trouble, wouldnt it?

When I moved out of my mum's place and in with my then-girlfriend, we had a lot of furniture already, so I had to break down a lot of my stuff which was old anyway since I absolutely loathe furniture stores. Seriously, just entering one makes me aggressive and I don't know why. Anyway, I had this sturdy old desk my sister had given me when she moved to the US. I used a crowbar from my granddad to break it down since the screws were rusty and apparently there was also a very strong glue in the play. Worked like a charm!

All the other furniture though I could disassemble using either a screwdriver or just my bare hands just fine, and I am by no means a strong dude. Even my wardrobe which was taller than me - just grab one of the shorter ends and shake it a bit, it'll fall down like the plywood that it is. Same goes for chairs, put them on the floor and give it a few kicks, especially effective when you're wearing steel-toed work boots (I actually have two pairs of those as LARP boots)

You know what else a prybar can open? Manhole covers. While I'm not sure what would bring us to go to the sewers, that could be how it's done. Well, maybe the sewers would be a good emergency-shelter, but Coastal Highway, Desolation Point and maybe the road in PV are the only places where I can imagine those to be in the first place.

Well, it's also used for opening ice holes and punching wolves, so there's that, but I do agree with the overall sentiment. Could also be a tool in breaking wooden boxes for firewood.

Punching wolves with a prybar in your inventory won't work, you'll just be using your fists!

I think we need 2 type of pry bar.

  1. heavy : use for cargo and other thing
condition decrease extremely low and very rare !!!!! 2 per sandbox (see a pry bar on internet it weigh about 18 lb (about 9 kg!!!!!))
  2. lightweight: door and trunk.
condition decrease a bit unfair and very common!!!!  (see a pry bar on internet it weigh about 0.5 lb (about 0.25 kg!!!!!))
