Deer with an Iron Vest

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but I've had deer that have reflected my arrows. The arrow hits them in the chest area and then ricochets away like it hit a rock. Doesn't happen all the time. Just enough to make hunting... glitchy.

It has happened in both Coastal Highway - Mid Lake, and Mystery Lake just outside Trappers Homestead

This sounds like fun... Hunting deer with armor sounds tricky!!

This happened to me as well.  The arrow riccocheted, but the deer died anyway.  Probably a bug.  Happened in Pleasant Valley for me, at the Hunter's Blind near Abandoned Prepper's Cache.  PC, Windows 10.

If you shoot an arrow in the back of an animal (I experienced it on deer and bears so far) the arrow will ricochet.

Funny thing that happened to me; I shot a bear in the back, the arrow bounced against the bear and felt on it again while it was running away

It sounds like the arrow ricocheted, which is possible. A video would be helpful, but at first glance (no pun intended) it sounds like you're hitting that random chance. 

Also, please don't post the same topic both here and Steam, I check both and it just makes it harder to track the issue.
