MarrowStone
Ok so caffeine is implemented already in this game in the form of coffee, but how about make Summit soda give a slight buff in fatigue too? From what i can tell its some kind of Mountain Dew. Maybe add in the description that it contains caffeine as well. The other flavors could be caffeine free to prevent players from guzzling soda all day. And its buff would be smaller than drinking coffee. cekivi
I always thought of Summit Soda as caffeine free ginger ale But it would be nice to have a caffeinated Coastal Cola

If I want to wake up/stay awake in real life, I drink coffee, not soda. In all honesty, I don't think I have ever gotten a "caffeine buzz" from soda, ever. I probably don't drink enough, but that is a good thing. Coffee will have between 3-4+ times the amount of caffeine per "dose" than soda will. http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/caffeine/art-20049372 And, to be entirely honest, I already guzzle soda all day in-game. No reason not to. A "food" that fills both hunger and thirst? Awesome.
cekivi
It'd be the sugar more than the caffeine from a cola that would give you the boost. Drinking far too much pop was my preferred way to stay awake when finishing reports in undergrad

Drinking far too much pop was my preferred way to stay awake when finishing reports in undergrad i've heard sugar rush is a myth. read something not too far back saying that any kind of "sugar rush" is brought on mentally, and isnt an actual reaction. which makes sense. i've never felt a sugar rush in my life, as far as i know. but diet mtn dew? that stuff has caffeine content not far off from a cup of coffee. other sodas such as coke, dr pepper, etc, don't have enough caffeine to give you a significant boost. diet mtn dew and dried, crushed up instant noodles - the college life special xD on a side note, i've always imagined Summit Soda as Sprite. that lemon-lime soda. and Coastal Cola is something i need in my life. please, hinterland. Salty Crackers
More sodas is always better. Blue can for Coastal Cola? Maybe some root beer?
Wastelander
If we're adding more sodas to the game... https://www.vtsweetwater.com/maple_soda.html I'll just, you know, leave this here. The maple soda. You know, that soda made with maple syrup
