hauteecolerider
Hello, Since the Penitent Scholar update went live I've been unable to take any screenshots at all other than F8. F9, F10 and F12 (for Steam overlay) are no longer working. I am not sure if this issue existed during the Test Branch phase as I never tried it then. The last time I could take screenshots with F10 was in v. 338. Guest Support
That's strange, many people are still able to take screen shots. Do you by any chance have your Mac configured to require a modifier button for the Function keys? Since the steam overlay is not working as well it sounds like it might be outside of the game. hauteecolerider
I haven't changed anything in the System Preferences nor the keyboard preferences in-game. However, I just discovered when I posted yesterday that I lost 2 of my RAM cards (2 x 1 GB) - the Mac is supposed to show 12 GB, not 10. I have replacement memory cards on the way, and I'll see if that changes anything. Speaking from experience, funky RAM can lead to really weird stuff. OTOH, these were two of the original Apple cards. There's not much left that's original to the 2008 purchase - just the other two that are still working. I'm replacing all four of the Apple cards. My OWC cards are quite a bit newer and still good. This old Pro has been through quite a bit - new motherboard (2011), new graphics card last year, and new drives. Still chugging away . . . Anyway, I digress. I'll update you after I install the new RAM today.
hauteecolerider
Wanted to let you know . . . Replaced the RAM (actually upgraded all the original RAM) with no effect. Went back into System Preferences and turned off Shortcuts that used the relevant F keys. Screenshots work! I revisited this after I realized that screenshots worked fine on my laptop, but not on the desktop which has a different set of keyboard preferences.
