FOV on XBOX

hey guys so I was just wondering ,should I put my field of view up higher? and what if any effects will this have on my gameplay /fps etc .

Have been playing this game for a long time so just curious but dont want to make change if it will make the game look /play too differrently.

The current field of view makes your character seem as if he/she is very short. I have not changed my field of view as I want to maintain the naturalness of the game's feel. 

If you made your field of view higher, all it would do would make you seem taller. I don't think that it would affect the gameplay mechanics or fps.
