Game Crash in Coastal Highway

Hello. The game crashes when I get out on the ice in Coastal Highway. After trying to force DX9 It crashed even sooner; just as I got outside the house I was in.

There is nothing particular standing out in your output log indicating a crash. Any other details you can give us about the crash? Does the game just close, hang, or do you get an error message?

It's a hang. Image freezes and parts of the sound goes away (some distant ambient wind or whatever stays). No error message or anything like that. Then I wait until I don't feel like it anymore and I klick my mouse and Windows tells me that the program is not responding and I close it.

I played the Long Dark a lot some months ago (on the same laptop) and never had this happen.

After updating the game just now I don't get the freeze any more.
