Ok. So I've played around with the game a bit now and I can handle all the stuff this game throws at me. But, having no way to actively attack unless something is on me... this is just.. aggravating - and gamebreaking for me. I'm a prior marine, I have survival training. One should be able to grab a stick, or a 2 x 4, or whatever random object on the ground is handy ( a rock? ) and use it for defense. I would really like to continue playing this game... but for now, I'll have to say no - and I hope you legitimately add melee combat.

The game is still early alpha, so not all features or functions have been added in yet. It is on the dev's to-do list.
