Dreepa
Hi, rare situation, but annoying nevertheless: When in pitch black darkness (e.g. an underground mining tunnel) there seems to be no way to tell if you are in crouch mode or standing up. Trying to get around with only a few matches left, made me go "guessing mode" which means trying to navigate through the tunnel without light, unless really necessary. Turned out I had to use the matches cause I was confused if I am actually still crouching or walking. Cheers,
RIchAsissts
Hi in this situation I have had to listen to my foot steps. If you are crouched it makes a shuffling sound and much slower steps. I completely agree that you should have a simple stance indicator.
Hotzn
I love the confusion the darkness creates. I once got caught in the darkness at the workbench in Camp Office. No problem, i thought, just light the lantern and go upstairs to bed... dang... left the lantern upstairs. Matches, too. No light source (I was young and inexperienced then). Tried to find my way upstairs by walking around, listening to the sound of my footsteps and trying to catch something in my crosshair. After a while, I didn't know whether I was looking, up, down, whatever. Couldn't find anything. So I got out my bedroll and tried to place it. Couldn't. Hrrrrgnnn... I moved my mouse around frantically trying to find some floor space for the bedroll. At last I somehow placed it and went to sleep. The next morning on waking up I discovered I have placed the bedroll on top of the workbench and slept there! This was some versions ago, no idea if it still works. Found it pretty funny, though. I found this hilarious because similar things have happened to me in the camp office when I first started. Now I just think what door did I go in and can auto run upstairs

Well, that is a hilarious way to navigate. Hopefully you didnt wake up with a nail sticking inside your back But come on, knowing your current body stance is something so natural, you wouldn't need a lightsource to figure that out, would you?
