More safes

I've noticed that there are only 2 safes (please tell me if there are more) and they don't have much stuff in them, in fact I ran into one that was empty which kind of pissed me off.  Anyway I was thinking putting more safes in the game. Places would probably be PV farmstead, camp office, etc.

I also want to see different kind of safe one that's really big and has a ton of stuff in it kind of like a cargo container. This safe would have to be randomly spawned in a safe house so people just don't go to where it spawns right off the bat. The stuff I want to be inside it should be like MREs, rifle rounds, quality tools, flares, flare gun shells, pain killers, antibiotics, and other rare stuff. BUT it should have to be broken into and take 10-20 hours with a great expense of calories and tools to break because safes in real life are extremely hard to break into (hence the word safe) 

What do you guys think?

Well think about it:

- How many people have a safe?

While I do not know about you I do not have one. So I am not surprised that there are only few.

- What do people normally put into saves?

I guess in real Life I would mainly put in valuables. However those have pretty little value in a survival situation.

For all we know the empty one could have been filled to the brim with money and Mr. Mackenzie just discarded it as useless while searching.

And like Axtos wrote there are 3 saves (as far as I know)

I don't want to spoil the fun of the search for you by posting any exact locations, but there are three safes on the Mystery lake map alone. And ML is not the only map containing safes.

Are you certain there are 3 at mystery lake?

Because ML is one of the maps I know best and I only know of 2.

One Northwest and one Southeast. (not quite sure about direction but certainly at opposing ends)

In fact I can not even think about a place where a third one could be hidden away without me finding it.

You're right, sorry for the confusion. For some reason I was 100% convinced there was a safe in the Camp Office as well (which is not the case). It's two safes in ML + one in DP.

Yeah, I'd like to see a gun locker - ridiculously hard to open (5+ locks), but ALWAYS has a rifle (maybe even scoped!) and a Texan city worth of ammo.

The locker in the Trapper's Cabin could be considered a gun locker, but there is also a gun rack which actually spawns the gun.

A gun safe might be a cool addition. Maybe a place for the revolver when it's implemented?
