tnbp
I'm pretty new to these forums but I could have sworn I read on another post someone talking about eating fish raw in the game and never getting sick from it. Well, I ate one piece of raw fish after that and immediately got food poisoning. Apparently, you can't eat raw fish? Like I said, I thought I had read it somewhere on here and it certainly made sense to me (being a real-life sushi aficianado) but, alas, I got burned by that one... Is it possible that maybe I ate the wrong *type* of fish or something? Or is food poisoning just inherent in anything we eat that is uncooked in-game? Sushi is made in very carefully regulated facilities, whereas the fish you can catch in TLD have been eating god-knows-what. Raw fish, like raw meat, has a pretty high chance to give you food poisoning, however, there's also a chance that it doesn't - you just got bad luck. I accidently ate two raw fish the other day (I probably shouldn't play while intoxicated) and nothing bad happened to me.
nicko
catch and eat might be fine, just don't leave it to long.
Hatchet
Sushi is usually treated with something, vinegar, salt, spices to prevent bacteria from manifesting. So unless we get vinegar or salt, you'd be better off roasting that fish
